I’m Sticking With God

I’m sticking with God (I say it over and over). He’s all I’ve got left.

Lamentations 3:24

Jeremiah was lamenting the destruction of Jerusalem when he wrote this. It was in that dark moment of unimaginable loss, the prophet discovered that even when earthly possessions, homes, and freedoms are ripped away, a person who has God lacks absolutely nothing.

Sometimes in our earthly journeys we reach a place when we might think all is lost, or perhaps we have lost hope. But when you reach the point where you quietly whisper, “God is all I’ve got,” Heaven hears something far louder than despair. It hears a victory shout. Because when everything else has been stripped away, and your heart still turns toward Him, you are standing in the strongest place a human soul can stand.

You are declaring what the prophet discovered in the darkest chapter of his life: the Lord is your portion. Not a small portion. Not barely enough to get by. Not a thin, fragile hope. Your portion is God Himself—unlimited, unwavering, unchanging, and endlessly faithful.

When you’re declaring that God is all you’ve got, what you’re really saying is that He is your inheritance, your supply, your security, your treasure, your future, and your present help. You’re saying the Lord is your abundance. The Lord is your everything-you-need. You are not left with scraps. You are not surviving on spiritual leftovers. You have God—and that means you have more than enough.

Regardless of your circumstances, let this truth settle deep inside you. Not just in your mind, but in the quiet places where fear tries to whisper and grief tries to linger. Your soul is meant to rise up and say, “God is my portion. God is my plenty. God is my more‑than‑enough.”

So, when you say, “I’m sticking with God,” you’re not clinging to the last thing you have left. You’re holding onto the greatest thing you could ever possess. You’re choosing the One who cannot fail you, cannot abandon you, and cannot run out of what you need.

You’re choosing abundance in the middle of loss. You’re choosing hope in the middle of heartbreak. You’re choosing the God who remains when everything else shifts.

And because He is your portion, you can place your hope in Him—not with trembling uncertainty, but with quiet confidence. You have plenty in Him. You have sufficiency in Him. You have a future in Him. You have strength in Him. You have peace in Him. You have Him—and that means you have everything. So do I, and I’m sticking with God.

Prayer

Father, settle this truth deep within the heart of the one reading today. Let them feel the strength of knowing that You are their portion, their supply, and their more‑than‑enough. Remind them that sticking with You is not desperation—it is victory. Fill their soul with hope, peace, and the assurance that they have plenty because they have You.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen…
